Linnéa Isaksson, Post Doc.
Linnéa studied biotechnology at Linköping University where she received her masters degree in 2009. Her PhD studies was conducted at the Swedish NMR centre in Gothenburg, studying intrinsically disordered proteins with NMR. Currently she is doing a post-doc in the Westenhoff group. She is mainly interested in cell-free protein expression, a tool for producing recombinant proteins in solution using the biomolecular translation machinery extracted from cells. The synthesized proteins’ function, dynamics and interactions are studied with mainly NMR and Infrared spectroscopy. Her projects are focused on a bacterial Phytochrome, sensitive to light in the red and far-red region of the visible spectrum.
